Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend breakdowns, identify faults and problem solve, with minimal downtime to production.
• Carry out the diagnosis of faults, maintenance and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service.
• Estimate the length of time required to complete a job and the likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescales.
• Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage.
• Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to direct report.
• Assist with the moving, installation and repositioning of machines and equipment.
• Ensure a safe working environment exists for self and colleagues, ensuring all health, safety environmental, and quality management procedures are followed and achieve the company's and departmental KPI targets.

Job Requirements :

• At least Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic or equivalent in PW4, A0 and A1 certifcate and Chargeman Certificate A4 will be advantage.
• At least 3 years in maintenance technical in manufacturing environment.
• Hands on troubleshooting experience as a maintenance technician
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods, Basic understanding on hydraulic, pneumatic and other system.
• Able to operate Forklift Truck and lifting equipment.
• Willing to work at Kapar, Klang
